We are seeking a Web Experience Intern to join the web team responsible for renesas.com. In this role, you will drive improvements to the online experience for millions of engineers and technical customers worldwide. You will collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, content, and product marketing teams to deliver exceptional web experiences for our engineering audience.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Strategy
Generate ideas for website improvements grounded in research, user feedback, and analytics
Support the definition, scoping, and prioritization of web product features and enhancements
Participate in user research and usability testing to identify insights and areas for improvement
Analyze web analytics to uncover optimization opportunities and performance trends
Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and maintain awareness of the competitive landscape
Execution
Gather and document requirements from business stakeholders and customer feedback
Manage web features through the product lifecycle, from concept to launch
Partner with UX design, content, and development teams to translate ideas into clear, actionable tickets
Write detailed functional and technical requirements for website features
Collaborate with web development teams to refine requirements, conduct testing, and validate releases
Advocate for user needs throughout the design and development process
Must be currently enrolled full time in a university degree program pursing a bachelor or master degree. Must not have graduated before September 2026
Familiarity with web technologies, analytics tools, and content management systems
Proven ability to work effectively within complex technical domains
Experience in any of the following areas: web development, UX design, analytics, user research
Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and drive progress
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Excellent organization and collaboration abilities
A background in electrical engineering and/or experience working with semiconductors is highly desirable
