Location: Ideally Bay Area, CA.

Responsibilities & opportunities in this role:
  • Cross‑Team Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between Compute‑Storage and Networking groups.
  • Program Ownership: Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of data‑center infrastructure programs (e.g., rack‑level upgrades, power‑and‑cooling optimizations).
  • Define scope, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics; translate business goals into actionable plans.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with Data Center Operations, Procurement, and external vendors to secure resources, negotiate contracts, and manage expectations.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify, track, and mitigate risks and blockers; develop contingency plans. Escalate critical issues to the appropriate leadership promptly.
  • Process & Tooling: Champion best practices for program management and implement and maintain program tracking tools (Jira, Confluence, Power BI, etc.).
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct post‑mortems and capture lessons learned. Drive process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce technical debt.

Ideal candidates have/are:
  • Technical Depth: Strong understanding of data‑center infrastructure: compute, storage, networking, power, cooling, and GPU technologies.
  • Program Management Expertise: Proven track record managing complex, multi‑team programs with external dependencies; experience with Agile/Lean frameworks is a plus.
  • Stakeholder‑Centric Mindset: Excellent communication skills; able to translate technical details into business value for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical & Problem‑Solving: Comfortable with data‑driven decision making; adept at risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Leadership & Influence: Comfortable leading without direct authority; can inspire cross‑functional teams to achieve shared goals.
