Manage CIP, NSR's, and sustaining projects for existing products. Manage a team of individual contributors to project schedules and deliverables. Accountable for the design and development of highly complex electrical systems, sub-systems,and/or solutions, applying engineering methods to design. Decision maker for design reviews. Ensure designs are complete, of quality, and adhere to Lam standards. Mentor, coach, and develop engineers. Work closely with product management to align and execute to product priorities. Contribute to PDR programs and system visions. Support field escalation and supply chain efforts as necessary. Contribute to functional specifications for highly complex electrical/ electro-mechanical systems and power distribution components. Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, analysis, and results to diverse audiences. Organize hands-on test and validation utilizing lab equipment to characterization of the performance of the electrical/electro-mechanical systems. Assess and deliver performance feedback to team members. Lead by influence. Lead outside of direct authority to accomplish objectives. Represent the electrical and systems team to outside groups and leadership. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 12+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 8+ years' experience; or equivalent experience. Working experience within the Semiconductor equipment market. Experienced in Lam controls architecture. Experienced in developing functional specifications, system requirements, and test plans. Systems minded. Ability to synchronize efforts between process, SW, and HW engineering. Comfortable in AC/DC design, analog/digital circuits, and application code (FW). Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills to lead engineers. Strong understanding of Lam standards and industry standards (SEMI, NFPA-79, etc.). Clear communicator.
