Job Summary & Responsibilities

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical contract intern to join our IT Business Analysis team. As an IT Business Analyst Intern, you’ll work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to help bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This internship offers hands-on experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design.

Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements for IT projects
- Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement
- Support the development of functional specifications and user stories
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and help translate needs into technical solutions
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and project managers to ensure successful delivery
- Help create process flow diagrams, wireframes, and other documentation
- Conduct research and benchmarking to support solution recommendations
- Assist in testing and validating system changes before deployment

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, or Power BI
- Power BI, Azure
