THE ROLE
We’re seeking a Sr. Product Manager to define and drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for firmware, BIOS, and driver components that power AMD’s GPU software stack. This role focuses on ensuring seamless compatibility and performance across the firmware, BIOS, kernel-mode drivers, user-space components, ROCm, and AI software ecosystem. You’ll enable robust integration and system stability from low-level hardware initialization through to AI and HPC workloads running at scale.
The person in this role acts as the bridge between hardware engineering, driver and firmware teams, and software developers, ensuring cross-layer coherence and exceptional platform reliability. This is a high-impact role ideal for a technically deep product leader passionate about system software, hardware-software co-design, and driving innovation in GPU platform enablement for next-generation workloads.
THE PERSON
You’re a systems thinker with deep expertise in GPU architecture, firmware and BIOS development, and driver software. You understand the intricate dependencies between hardware bring-up, driver initialization, and runtime behavior. You’ve shipped developer-facing or platform-enablement products that require precise coordination between firmware, drivers, and higher-level software frameworks. You can translate complex cross-component challenges into actionable engineering priorities and ensure that AMD GPUs operate optimally across diverse configurations, environments, and workloads.
