Duties
  • Lead and manage product marketing engineer and product manager tasked with ensuring the proper execution and delivery of the goals set out below; Oversee and direct staff to work with the product research, development, product marketing, engineering teams of OEM customers and partners to understand the next generation of electronic devices being developed by those OEM customers and partners and the specific technical demands those devices will impose on the integrated circuits within them; Provide vision, leadership, and strategic direction to staff for the company's PC business development activities at our strategic partners; Provide direction and recommendations to staff and roadmap architects and teams as an expert on PC market / industry trends; Lead technical engagements with external strategic partners to help customers be successful in building compelling solutions; Define the marketing strategies for next generation of integrated circuit products and working with Marcom (marketing communication) teams to develop marketing strategies to drive demand and ensure optimum positioning for integrated circuit products; Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, contracts, press releases and other business arrangements to secure favorable terms and successful outcomes.


Responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, E-Commerce, Marketing or a closely related field plus ten years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Master’s degree in one of the foregoing fields plus eight years of relevant experience. In all cases, experience must include five years of experience in semiconductor product marketing or related roles; five years of experience leading marketing for a large (>$100M) electronics engineering product family or families; and five years leading teams in partnerships and winning positions on a chipset vendor reference design. All experience may be earned concurrently. In addition, the position requires a detailed understanding of the competitive semiconductor audio, haptic, sensing, and power technologies offered in the PC market. Travel approximately 20% of the time to international and domestic customer and partner sites.
