Hardware Development: Directs, leads, and manages the technical activities of a hardware development function for electronic design, mechanical design and/or hardware reliability. Software Development: Directs, leads, and manages the technical activities of a software development function for software systems, applications and/or software quality assurance. Systems Design: Directs, leads, and manages the technical activities of an integrated hardware/software systems design function. Lead a team focused on development of Hardware/Firmware for robotics and mechatronics products on Lam equipment. Manage Product release lifecycle for these Hardware/Software products. This includes the management of new customer requirements as well as solutions for problem areas. Communication among diverse teams including process engineers, technicians, suppliers and customers. Working in cross functional teams throughout our global organization. Employee management. Bachelors or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field with 4-6 years of supervisory experience. 7+ years of industry experience focused on robotics and motion control. At least 5 years of experience leading a team in the Semiconductor field related to motion control and robotics. At least 10 years of semiconductor equipment experience. Deep understanding of robotics, controls, and firmware development. Strong knowledge of PCB board design and FW development. Very strong communication skills. High standard of presentations. Strong analytical approach to root cause analysis.
