Shift/Hours/Location: Monday- Friday, 6am-4:30pm, onsite Moses Lake, WA (variation & OT as necessary)

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

• Perform general duties around the plant including but not limited to, lawn maintenance, exterior building maintenance, and grounds cleanup. 
• Provide support and resources as necessary to every department in the plant regarding the Facilities Cleanliness initiative.
• Engage in daily communication with maintenance team to prioritize maintenance work.
• Assist in writing procedures and maintain records of repairs.
• Work towards operations excellence through 5S Methodology (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain the Cycle).
• Uphold all MLI policies and "MLI Code of Conduct".
• Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations. 
• Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required. It is the employee's commitment to ensure that the Company's actual practices and procedures are exercised as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school Diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of computers and MS Office software.
• Demonstrated ability to:
• Follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in order to meet established deadlines.
• Work as a team and/or independently.
• Perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Groundskeeping Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred.

Summary pay range: $22-$25/hour

WORKING CONDITIONS

Duties are generally performed indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions, in a 24-hour per day, seven days per week manufacturing environment.   Handling and working with hazardous materials and chemical manufacturing equipment is routine. The employee may work in the presence of fumes or airborne particles, hot, toxic or corrosive chemicals, water, liquids and electrical equipment.  The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.  When working in the presence of these hazards, the employee is expected to follow company safety rules and use proper personal protection such as: hardhat, respirator, hearing protection, protective clothing, safety glasses, safety footwear, etc.  MLI is an alcohol and drug free workplace. Employees will work in a covered Process Safety Management (PSM) environment containing threshold quantities of flammable liquids and/or gasses that have a potential for fire or explosion. Employees working in this environment are required to be free from devices that are not considered intrinsically safe. Examples of devices that may not be intrinsically safe include Insulin Pumps, Pacemakers, Pain Management devices, etc.
