Job Description
 Improve and sustain all semiconductor manufacturing processes. This includes coordinating projects to minimize defects, improve process control, and reduce rework; studying process window for new devices; qualifying new tools; and evaluating new consumables. Collaborate with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Operations and R&D groups on cross-functional projects. Participate in inter-departmental efforts to manage process excursions. Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to contribute to teams solving wafer fabrication problems. Serve as the Owner and Administrator of Sleuth analysis system. Improve defect-limited yield on Silicon Photonic processes.

Job Requirements
 •    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Microelectronic Engineering, or a related field.
 •    One year of experience in yield engineering, integration engineering or a combination of these fields (to include any relevant job titles within these occupations); experience must be in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
 •    Work experience to include: 
      1. Setting and debugging recipe on bright and dark field inspection tools (KLA, AIT XP+, Applied Materials COMPLUS and Applied Materials SEMVision).
      2. Defect review and classification. 
      3. Using Yield Analysis and Sleuth software.
      4. Improving defect-limited yield on utilizing 0.18µm SiGe, and 0.18µm Silicon Photonics.
      5. Sustaining day-to-day semiconductor manufacturing operations and mentoring technicians on these operation processes.
      6. Supporting a global team or environment (working with production teams located in different geographic zones and different countries). 
      7. Presenting technical concepts and analysis on finding defects in semiconductor manufacturing to the engineering team and management.
      8. Investigating, identifying, verifying, and containing sources of particulate contamination in semiconductor manufacturing.
      9. Using Statical Process Control (SPC) charts and techniques to monitor defect performance and identify potential defect-limited yield; using Design of Experiments (DOE) to reduce or eliminate defects in semiconductor manufacturing; analyzing defect-trend data, dispositioning problem wafers or   lots, and correlating defectivity type or level to product yield. 
     10. Performing analysis of in-line defectivity and correlating to E-Test, and Probe data to analyze results from experiments or in-line defect data in order to identify and resolve problems.
     11. Utilizing at least one of the following processes, technologies or tools: Photolithography, Etch, Diffusion, Thin-films, CMP/Hivac, Copper Damascene or Wet-cleans.
