Role Summary
The Inspector/Test Technician is responsible for the testing and inspection of CPUs, memory modules and hard drives.
Essential Functions
- Match incoming parts to purchase order and customer requirements.
- Pull stock for shipping.
- Stock incoming product.
- Verify product via internet for product verification.
- Input product information into receiving system.
- Resolve discrepancies.
- Testing of product: Processors / Modules / Hard Drives/ Motherboards and various computer related products.
- Log test results in database.
- Create test reports.
- Processes Non-Conforming product in line with QMS.
- Label conforming product for packaging according to customer requirement.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience and Physical Requirements
- Demonstrated experience assembling and upgrading computers.
- Possess a minimum of 2 Years Inspection and IT related experience.
- Follow all health and safety procedures/regulations as dictated by Rand and the state.
- Demonstrated experience working in computer operations.
- Proficient level: Keyboards, processors etc.
- Proficient level: Troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Pass drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time during the course of the shift.
- Bend, move, lift, carry, and kneel.
- Lift up to 25lbs or more. Over 50Ibs with assistance.
- Finger, wrist, and hand dexterity with repetitive motion.
- Cognitive function; think independently, solve formulas, solve problems, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
