Job Description:

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated New College Graduate (NCG) Product/Test Engineer to join our HRR business unit in the San Jose, CA office supporting the development and testing of mixed-signal analog space grade integrated circuits (ICs). This is an exciting opportunity to launch your engineering career in a dynamic environment focused on high-reliability products for space applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with design, process, and quality teams to support product development and qualification of mixed-signal analog ICs for space-grade applications.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize test plans, procedures, and hardware for new and existing products.
  • Analyze test data, identify trends, and troubleshoot issues to ensure product performance meets stringent space-grade requirements.
  • Support failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective actions for test-related issues.
  • Assist in the characterization and validation of products, including electrical, environmental, and reliability testing.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test results, procedures, and product status.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with IC testing methodologies, automated test equipment (ATE), and lab instrumentation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, high-reliability environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Internship or project experience in semiconductor product/test engineering.
  • Knowledge of space-grade reliability standards and qualification processes.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Excel).
  • Exposure to test program development and hardware design.

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in California, is $68,640 - $128,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
