DESCRIPTION:

Leads all procurement and sourcing operations across the semiconductor manufacturing organization. This role is

responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, supervising the

Materials Management Team, and providing escalation support for supplier and supply chain challenges across all

sites.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Serve as the primary escalation contact for supplier issues across all facilities in CA and AZ.

Lead supplier negotiations, performance reviews, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), collaborating with

Quality, Engineering, and other departments as needed.

Provide consistent monthly forecasts for key suppliers and confirm capacity to ensure ramp readiness.

Detect and respond to forecast lifts by working with suppliers to ensure resource alignment.

Make real-time and strategic supplier decisions to support production and customer needs.

Own and manage purchasing metrics, including Buyer Performance, Shortage Management, and Supplier On-

Time Delivery (OTD).

Manage and delegate daily/weekly/monthly alignment meetings with suppliers based on business needs.

Oversee purchasing of inventory, raw materials, outside processing (OP) materials, MRO, and safety stock.

Directly manage the Materials Management Team, including staff responsible for purchasing functions across

all categories.

Provide coaching, performance management, and development opportunities for team members.

Travel to different facilities as required to provide hands-on purchasing support and leadership.

Collaborate with internal teams including Quality, Manufacturing, and CCT to resolve supply chain challenges.

Ensure alignment between purchasing activities and production, engineering, and customer requirements.

Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as company policies and

procedures.

Maintain working knowledge of ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 14001 (Environmental

Management Systems).

Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted

safe work practices.

Perform additional related duties as assigned.


CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:

ASCM certification (such as APICS, CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD) preferred.

APICS or equivalent certification preferred.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred or

equivalent of experience.

15+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of direct, indirect, and outside processing (OP) procurement.

Extensive ERP experience with ability to develop management tools and dashboards.

Demonstrated success in supplier development, cost reduction, and escalation management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the

organization and with external partners.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS WHILE PERFORMING THE JOB:

Travel between California and Arizona sites as required

Frequently standing, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, or bending to the floor.

Occasionally lifting and/or moving items up to 15 pounds.

Frequently required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Possible breathing of fumes, odors, dust, and mist.

Normal office environment

The employee will be required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent exposure to hazardous

materials commonly used in a manufacturing environment (i.e., safety glasses and shoes, gloves, ear

plugs/covers, mask, cleanroom suit)
