Duties
  • Electronics engineer responsible for functional verification of audio CODECs and other mixed signal products. Detailed responsibilities include but are not limited to: verification planning, testbench development, failure analysis and resolution, coverage analysis and population, digital/mixed-signal modeling, directed/constraint-random test generation, formal verification analysis with execution, proficient knowledge of scripting languages and flow development. Candidates must work closely with digital/analog designers, applications engineers, and manufacturing test to support both pre-silicon verification and post silicon validation efforts of integrated circuits employing knowledge of electronic theory and materials properties.


Responsibilities
  • Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor of Science in one of the foregoing fields plus seven years of experience or a PhD in one of the foregoing fields plus three years of experience. In all cases, experience must include three years of hands-on experience with complex Systemverilog constructs such as assertions and coverage; In addition, the position requires: Knowledge of Systemverilog programming language and associated verification methodology; The ability to code complex code to hit verification requirements; Knowledge of analog and digital design fundamentals; The ability to understand and debug digital design blocks; The ability to understand analog schematics conceptually; Knowledge of both AMS and DMS verification; The ability able to model analog circuits functionally; and a practical understanding of challenges associated with analog mixed signal verification compared to digital only verification.
