Position Summary:

The DCS Operations Supervisor will oversee and support a variety of inbound and outbound operational processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance across all activities. Responsibilities include supervising daily workflows, prioritizing purchase orders and projects, monitoring team performance, and driving process improvements. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across departments to meet operational goals and customer expectations.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, ensuring adherence to company procedures, industry standards and operation’s goals.
  • Oversee inbound processes: product receiving, inspection, sorting, teardown, cataloging, testing, troubleshooting, QC, packaging, labeling and updating server, network and PC units and commodities.
  • Ensure system transactions in CCX, Glovia, Swipe and WCX are accurate and complete with keen attention to detail.
  • Prioritize and monitor purchase orders and projects to ensure timely completion and communication with other departments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (trading, procurement, IT, logistics) to quickly address and resolve issues and ensure on time deliveries to our customers.
  • Ensure process and employee compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, & R2v3 standards and EOS 20.20 ESD in all work areas.
  • Provide process and technical escalation support for your team to quickly resolve issues as they arise.
  • Generate data and provide operational reports to management and other departments as requested.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements and technical enhancements to optimize workflow.
  • Train and mentor team members to build technical and operational proficiency.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT hardware operations, including assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair (Dell, HP, Cisco preferred).
  • Leadership experience in an operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel); Access experience a plus.
  • One or more certifications preferred: A+, Server+, Network+, CCNA, CNA, MCSA, MTA.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to research new technologies.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. repetitively.
  • Willingness to work overtime as business needs require.

  • On-time completion of inbound and outbound orders and projects.
  • Accuracy of PO materials and reported data.
  • Compliance with certification ESD standards.
  • Team morale, productivity and effectiveness of communications.
  • Reduction in operational turn-around times, errors and rework.
  • Positive feedback from other departments.
