Act as primary point of contact for assigned construction suppliers Manage Supplier Relationship Globally Perform commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliers Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization including Executive Leadership and enlist senior management, when appropriate, to help reinforce commitment and involvement from suppliers Develop a contract strategy for each project, including to create, negotiate, supervise and implement contracted terms and conditions Collaborate internally to drive and develop key performance measures/metrics for Strategic Suppliers and supervise supplier performance against these expectations to ensure continuous supplier improvement Build and Implement Construction Category Strategy Participate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal setting Provide market intelligence and price trends to relevant internal partners on a well-adapted schedule Apply should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace Support procurement leadership by supervising project sourcing team members Support development of project level staffing support plans Support documenting project level procurement strategies and timelines Bachelor's Degree or higher in Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering Master's Degree is a plus PMP certification or equivalent, preferred Required Experience leading multiple large-scale projects concurrently 3+ years experience in construction, construction management and/or construction procurement or contracting Construction contract negotiation and administration Proficient in MS office Comfort around Senior Leaders and Executives, ability to create and deliver executive-level presentations Supervisory experience leading sourcing teams Experience with industry-standard contracts (FIDIC) and/or Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) contracting Knowledge of CSA and MEP systems, generally accepted standards of workmanship in construction and infrastructure systems Knowledge of innovative construction practices, may include BIM (or greater) technology, pre-fabrication, etc. Knowledge of project controls and standard project reporting
