The role will help the team ensure that inventories are properly accounted for, inventory management controls are consistently complied with, and risks associated are timely assessed and managed. This role involves collaborating with various departments to maintain inventory accuracy, analyze discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and operations team on cycle count schedules.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Update inventory records based on cycle count results.
  • Prepare and analyze inventory-related financial reports.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Support internal/external audit requests related to inventory cycle count and cost accounting.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed to help drive business results.
  • Work closely with the finance, warehouse, and operations team to resolve inventory issues.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to improve inventory management processes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on inventory-related matters.
