Sr. Mgr./Director, Planning - AI Rack Hardware and Supply Chain
About this role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team, focusing on AI rack hardware and supply chain planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and management of our AI rack hardware and supply chain, from chip to rack, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, experience in the high tech industry, and excellent leadership skills.
Responsibilities & outcomes:
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Based on those supply chain strategies, develop and implement a monthly (end to end) build plan that will closely and proactively align with Groq’s demand requirements and our supply base. Build plan shall regularly highlight shortages and “Point of Failures”, and proactively address those with the Supply chain and Procurement teams.
- Define and implement a regular dashboard of Planning KPIs and metrics, monitoring and analyzing Build plan to actuals and highlighting exceptions and mitigations plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure comprehensive Planning strategies and execution.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration within the supply chain team.
Ideal candidates have/are:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on AI hardware and rack-level supply chain planning.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing high-performing Planning teams.
- Familiarity with chip-to-rack supply chain management, including manufacturing and logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
