Introduction to the job

Within ASML, Customer Support (CS) is responsible for the maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of ASML systems at customer locations. One of the departments within CS is Environment, Health and Safety (CS EHS). This department supports ASML CS on global scale to ensure safe and healthy working conditions at all our CS locations and for all the worldwide ASML operations at customer sites.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a professional to support as Safety Culture and Training Project Leader the next phase of safety culture and training program to all our worldwide operations. 

Location: ASML Netherlands. Work area: worldwide (US, Europe and Asia). 

Role and responsibilities

Purpose of the job

Support the preparation and roll-out of the next phase of the CS Safety Culture Maturity & Training program towards interdependent;

Key Activities

As Safety Culture & Training Project Leader, you will support the safety culture maturity roadmap, including: 

  • Drive the roll-out of the hein Safety Culture program 2024-2025 to all worldwide CS operations
  • Mature existing program elements (Safety Ambassadors, Safety Leadership Program)
  • Manage the CS safety training program and review periodically if updates are needed
  • Develop and roll-out global communications, safety campaign and engagement plan
  • Act as one of the roll-out champions for the next phase of the programs; including train the trainer sessions in the different CS regions 
  • Co-owns the department communication tools (Intranet, SharePoint)
  • Measure and Monitor project progress and project impact 

Education and experience

  • BSC /Master degree in safety management or comparable with focus on the people, behavior and culture aspect. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a training or safety culture change management role. Preferable within a global company in high-tech industrial or similar environment
  • Demonstrable experience with Safety Training Programs
  • Demonstrable experience with safety culture maturation and with influencing safety behavior preferred. 
  • Change management, communication and trainer skills
  • Experience in project-management

Other information

The Project Leader will be part of the CS EHS Systems team and will report to the CS EHS Systems Manager

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
