Role Summary:
· Key member of the product marketing team (PMM) responsible for P&L for NXP’s analog devices (general purpose I/O/s, voltage level translators, legacy analog portfolio)
· Multifaceted role with strategic and tactical responsibilities in a fast pace environment
Job Responsibility:
· Develop deep understanding of key markets (industrial, mobile, computing), key customers, target applications, and competitor positioning
· Create business cases (ROI) to justify new product development
· Proactively drive product launches and NPI activities to ensure market success
· Execute all aspects of semiconductor product lifecycle from concept to obsolescence
· Understanding of semiconductor process from front end foundry to back end assembly and test
· Supply allocations, delivery expedites, and product line forecasts
· Pricing for product line strategy, key customer quotes, and contracts
· Have methodical and analytical problem solving capabilities
· Develop and deliver marketing content including competitive positioning, product updates, sales trainings, webinars, whitepapers, trade journals, and marcom campaign initiatives
· Contact for sales, FAEs, and internal cross functional team to address any product or process issues
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Periodic domestic and international travel as required to key customers worldwide
Job Qualification:
· Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. MBA degree is a bonus.
· 5+ years semiconductor experience in technical product marketing
· Able to quickly learn new technologies, applications, and be resident expert of NXP’s analog portfolio
· Strong knowledge of mass market business through distribution, especially industrial market segment, including building automation, distribution automation, factory automation, and medical applications
· Proficient in generating presentations to internal and external customers, including application block diagrams
· Seasoned Microsoft application software user (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
· Proven track record of defining and deliverying succesful products is a plus
· Exceptional communication and presentation skills
· Self-starter, self-motivator, and able to excite and influence customers and internal stake holders
