We are hiring an accomplished Reliability Engineer Manager with over 10 years of extensive expertise in Front-End-of-Line (FEOL) and Back-End-of-Line (BEOL) reliability within the realm of nanometer technology, encompassing bulk Si and SOI. Will lead reliability assessments at multiple levels, including the wafer, package, discreet devices, and product levels. This SkyWater, strategic leadership role requires a robust technical background, hands-on experience, and a proven track record ensuring the reliability and performance of semiconductor devices throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide insightful technical leadership and guidance to the reliability engineering team.
  • Drive the development and execution of advanced reliability testing methodologies.

FEOL and BEOL Expertise:

  • Demonstrate a profound technical knowledge and hands-on experience in FEOL and BEOL reliability assessments, including HCI, BTI, TDD, GOI, CP, EM, SM, TCT, PCT, RDL, QML, PRF38535, etc. Oversee and actively contribute to the execution of reliability testing processes at each stage of semiconductor manufacturing milestones. Map all reliability requirements to a Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) throughout technology development.

Multilevel Reliability Assessments:

  • Conduct and lead reliability evaluations at the wafer, package, discreet devices, and product levels. Ensure the application of comprehensive reliability testing methodologies throughout the development process.

Testing and Evaluation:

  • Design, implement, and optimize reliability test plans for both existing and new semiconductor devices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and refine reliability requirements. Propose solutions and guide the TCAD team in creating productive DOEs.

Failure Analysis and Solutions:

  • Lead intricate failure analysis investigations to identify root causes of reliability issues.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions and preventive measures to enhance overall device reliability.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize advanced data analysis techniques (JMP, MINITAB, MATLAB, PYTHON) to extract meaningful insights from reliability data. Develop detailed reports (for DRM and PDK) and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record as a reliability engineer with significant expertise in FEOL and BEOL reliability.
  • In-depth knowledge of wafer fabrication processes, packaging technologies, and semiconductor device physics.
  • Substantial experience in executing reliability assessments at multiple levels, from discreet devices to final products such as SRAM, ROIC, automotive chips, etc.
  • Understanding of industry standards, testing equipment, and methodologies.

US Citizenship Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.
