Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing aspects of Richmond supply chain operations encompassing inbound, outbound, and warehousing activities. Your primary duties will include coordinating and supervising the movement of materials essential for production builds, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to support manufacturing schedules.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of Richmond supply chain operations including inbound, outbound, and warehousing activities.
Coordinate and oversee the materials required for production builds, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to support manufacturing schedules.
Work closely with 3PL and factory sources to manage purchase order placement and monitor material deliveries, ensuring alignment with production schedules and minimizing any disruptions.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory levels are optimized to meet production demands while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
Implement and maintain efficient inventory management practices, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and inventory reconciliation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and quality assurance, to identify and address any issues impacting logistics and inventory management.
Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the logistics and inventory management functions.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to logistics, inventory management, and supply chain management.
Provide regular reports and updates on key performance metrics related to logistics and inventory management.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in global supply chain, logistics, inventory management, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
Post-secondary education in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices, including inventory control, transportation management, and warehouse operations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with external partners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with inventory management software systems.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to resolve logistics and inventory-related issues.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to logistics and inventory management is preferred.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is CAD $53,200 - $83,600. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee's total compensation package.
