Position Title:
Operations Manager
Reports to: Director, Operations Nashua NH
Location: Lowell, MA
We are seeking an Operations Manager who will be
responsible for providing leadership, direction and hand-on problem solving
while driving process improvements, managing the team and achieving both short
term and long term objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Directing and leading a team to make effective
decisions for the daily operations to meet all safety, productivity, quality,
delivery, and inventory objectives, while driving continuous improvement
efforts that foster sustainable results to achieve all Key Performance
Indicator (KPI) goals.
- Creating and monitoring Operations strategic
initiative by identifying plant operations breakthroughs, building a
comprehensive action plan, and aligning resources to achieve targets.
- Developing and monitoring monthly operating
budgets and capital projects.
- Ensuring all employees are knowledgeable of and
comply with standard work policies as defined in the Quality Management System.
- Identifies and solves complex, operational, and
organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside
the department to ensure sufficient manufacturing capacity exists to achieve
all customer commitments.
- Leading the operations team with effective
communication and engagement activities as part of the Leadership Team in
Lowell.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years' experience or
master’s with 5 years of related experience in a highly regulated industry
4+ years’ experience managing people. - Demonstrated ability to conduct department daily
management and set departmental priorities.
- Proven track record driving continuous
improvement and problem-solving.
- Adept and effective in communications /
interactions with direct reports, and support teams, including the leadership
team.
- Demonstrated ability to provide coaching and
constructive performance management to direct reports.
- Lean Six Sigma operations.
