Role and responsibilities

As a Pilot Project Leader, your mission will be to introduce the new technology (on source and scanner) on the first pilot systems, and manage overall system progress on main modules and total systems, through progress coordinators and progress leads, towards committed delivery date. You’ll align with multiple stakeholders on a daily base to secure the shortest path to a fully qualified system and supporting a fast learning curve within the organization. In your work, you’ll use daily work-preparation with a 4 day horizon on all 6p = P items and will interface towards management and supporting sectors. Stakeholder management is therefore an important part of this job.

In this job, you will be responsible for:

  • Starting a system as a project using PM methodology. Securing shipment by creating and managing a detailed plan based on milestone’s in close corporation with stakeholders cross sector;
  • In time escalation to several teams and participating in defining solutions for NPI related problems which occur on the road, adhering to ASML quality standards without hampering shipment;
  • Assure system quality and safety in way of working (demand quality and quality of delivered work on machines);
  • Optimizing machine planning by chasing problem owners, removing obstacles, optimize sequence and escalate bottlenecks (e.g. safety, progress, quality, process, capacity, skills) to appropriate stakeholders;
  • Maintain and improve the way of working on daily production plan execution and reporting, improvement methodology, support, training, etc.;
  • Contributing to training plans and training activities (e.g. make system time available for learning on the job);
  • Initiating new improvements both for technical and process related issues and ensuring follow-up on improvement loop;
  • Communicating status and planning to internal and external customers.

Education and experience

Bachelor or Master degree (BSc or MSc) on specific technical area, with good knowledge and understanding of ASML’s technically complex products and processes.

In this job you’ll have to travel for ~10% of your work. This job is in normal office hours (dayshift).
