Within ASML risk capabilities are organized centrally (second line) and risk management is embedded within each of the sectors (first line). For the sectors Sales and Customer Support we are looking for a Risk Manager to further strengthen our risk management capabilities and processes. Job Mission   

The objective of the Risk Manager is to enable effective and efficient risk management processes within the sectors Sales & Customer Support, by building upon the risk management framework provided by the second line. With the main goal of ensuring risks do not exceed the organization risk appetite.

The Risk Manager role is threefold: (1) Building and driving an integrated risk agenda (2) identify and assess potential risks, recommends mitigations and helps the risk owners drive the implementation of mitigations to reduce the risk to an acceptable level, (3) Adoption and embedment of ASMLs integrated risk management tooling.

Job Description

  • Maintain and drive an integrated risk agenda and landscape for Sales & Customer Support in close collaboration with the second and third line of responsibility teams.
  • Align and build strong relationships with stakeholders, to gain buy-in and drive the risk business agenda.
  • Manage the preparation, execution and follow up of risk assessments in Sales & Customer Support.
  • Support Sales & Customer Support with risk management processes (incl. policy translation, Governance Risk & Compliance intakes, risk responses, control design and implementation to be “within risk appetite”)
  • Deliver expertise in the integrated risk management (ServiceNow) tooling adoption and have an in-depth understanding of how the IRM processes are supported by the tooling capabilities.
  • Support and guide in using the tooling within the team and facilitate business adoptions. Monitor progress and help to resolve the roadblocks and validate the quality of usage, mainly from a process perspective.
  • Propagate decisions and risks controls in the sector and get commitment on risk mitigation.

Education

  • Master degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Risk management qualifications like CRISC.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in risk management;
  • 5+ years relevant experience within a corporate environment;
  • Experience in information security & compliance is a plus.

Context of the position

As Risk Manager you are part of the Security & Risk Management department within Sales & Customer Support and will report to the Sector Risk Manager.

You will be based in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. You will be a member of the ASML Risk and Security community; working closely together with the risk management teams in other sectors and the central risk capability teams.
