The TPD Competence member and Document Control Specialist plays a crucial role in the TPD competence and ISAS Team. To accomplish this role, you should have knowledge of TPD framework, documentation systems, organizing procedures and be accurate, detail-oriented and well-communicative. The TPD Competence strives for a more automated way of creating TPD, guided by work instructions. Ultimate goal is an improved and more efficient WoW, containing all relevant aspects about TPD.
Being a member of the TPD competence and ISAS team means having a versatile and challenging assignment, with a great variety of activities, the team is supportive and constructive, the atmosphere is informal.
Role and responsibilities
The D&E MDEV Design Foundation ensures use of a cohesive standardization framework, industry standard techniques and best practices, to serve ASML business objectives. As a TPD Competence member and Document Control Specialist, you are part of a professional team and will maintain and improve standard documentation for ASML technical designs and processes. The emphasis is on an effective TPD framework with associated processes and PLM applications (such as Teamcenter). The TPD roadmap contains an amount of challenging activities and will result in a better and more efficient life for our designers within D&E Worldwide.
The scope of the TPD Competence member and Document Control Specialist MDEV Design Foundation is the following:
- Member of: TPD competence, TPD workgroup, ISAS team and MBD (Model Based Definition) project team.
- Owning, writing and maintaining TPD and MBD documents (related to 3D/PMI).
- Worldwide collaboration on short and long term improvement projects.
- Translate and align international industry standards into ASML engineer standards.
- Collaboration with D&E Technical Competences on impact analysis and deployment of new and updated ASML documents.
- Guiding ownership of new and updated ASML documents to the responsible organization.
- Drive identification and implementation of improvement opportunities in team.
Education and experience
Education
- Bachelor degree or higher in technical engineering or equivalent.
- CMII training and certification is a plus.
Experience
- TPD framework knowledge.
- Technical background with >5 years of experience preferable within multiple disciplines.
- Technical understanding of document standardization and experienced with international industry engineering standards.
- Teamcenter knowledge, NX knowledge is a plus.
- Multi-disciplinary knowledge and experience in means and methods is a pre.

Other information
The sector Development & Engineering (D&E) of ASML is responsible for the specification, design and realization of the products in the ASML portfolio. Within the sector D&E the cluster Mechanical Development (MDEV) is responsible for the definition, realization, qualification and integration of mechanical functions and modules within these products.
The MDEV Design Foundation group is responsible for the means and methods, standardization, curriculum, MDEV-internal Non-PGP projects and deployment of cross-cluster and cross-sector Non-PGP projects within MDEV.
The TPD Competence member and Document Control Specialist MDEV Design Foundation reports to the Group Manager MDEV Design Foundation.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
