•        Operational management of the workshop for making parts

•        Make/buy decisions incl. outsourcing of activities

•        Purchasing of materials and components

All this in close cooperation with the colleagues from purchasing, finance and logistics.

In addition you:

•        Build good relationships with suppliers (internal & external)

•        Stimulate active knowledge sharing within the team

•        Ensure that applicable regulations and standards are met.

•        Contribute to department-related activities with respect to lab & workshop management incl. environment, safety and health aspects

•        Act as a backup for the group leader

Education and experience

To be successful in this role you have the following skills/knowledge:

•        MBO (Level 4 ) or HBO in a technical direction (or similar obtained through experience)

•        Several years of work experience in a similar position or working environment

•        Knowledge of/experience with assembly work and construction techniques

•        Knowledge of/experience with assembly work and construction techniques

You are:
