The Corporate Real Estate organization (CRE) is accountable to develop and implement an integrated Real Estate strategy (includes Facility Management and Asset Management) that enables ASML's business strategy. ASML’s CRE strategy and programs are to reflect the following broad objectives: enable the short and long term Industrial Strategy; meet ASML’s workplace requirements; ensure business continuity while minimizing risks; total costs of ownership and providing the appropriate level of flexibility (portfolio management, maintenance/service standards, production scalability, etc.).
 
For the further development of the Berlin location and the significant growth targets associated with it, the regional CRE organization strives to maintain a consistent set of physical asset through its complete lifecycle to support the production process of ASML in an optimal manner.

Your tasks

It is now up to you to ensure that we really live up to our high standards. All measures are aimed  at improving the sustainability culture, raising awareness of ISO 50001 and ESG governance in all functions at ASML Berlin, as well as collecting baseline data, prepare improvement actions and  tracking all support and advisory activities at the site. This will take us to the next level of compliance, security and sustainability to protect our business.
 
In this exciting role, you will focus on the operational, procedural and strategic aspects of ISO 50001 & ESG, work closely with our team members and improve the ESG status for operations and all side departments.
 
In addition, you will be in close contact with CRE QEHS at our headquarters in the Netherlands and the global CRE QEHS organization.
 
ISO 50001 & ESG
  • Data collecting into ASML Datamanagement System
  • Data cross check from suppliers & ASML stakeholders
  • Define actions to improve the reduction of waste (Energy, Material, Processes)
  • Controlling and documentation the KPI according ISO 50001 & ESG
  • Ensure environmental reporting Berlin location and meets CSRD requirements
  • Report consumption energy, water, waste and analyse deviations/trends
  • Check that environmental indicators to EHS&S such as waste, Nox emissions, HFC spills, VOC, etc. are being reported on time and support local team if needed. E.g. new laws and regulations
  • Support feasibility, quantification, prioritization of energy savings & local masterplans projects in Berlin
  • Report out on energy savings & circularity projects on monthly basis
  • Prepare and validate with project teams and global team with headquater roadmap energy savings & local masterplans
  • Secure that energy savings & circularity projects are budgeted, timed and input transferred to HQ
  • Secure that energy savings & circularity are embedded in CRE hard service (lean operation of utilities) and report savings
  • Circularity: Improve waste insight and data quality incl. latest change in waste reporting
  • Circularity : Drive circularity program CRE Berlin to reduce waste
  • Collaborate with other sustainability coordinators to align, harmonize best practices, embed sustainability KPI’s in CRE supplier contracts and generate local insights, etc.
  • Provide operational and tactical advice on sustainability related topics to the QEHS local manager
  • Secure that ASML and CRE sustainability policy are embedded in soft services contracts incl waste hauler and report progress/savings to EHS&S
  • Roll out and  assess environmental sustainability program, incl prerequisites required to embed sustainability in F&M processes, standards
  • Participate in sustainability project involving project, F&M and EHS&S teams to solve challenges/implement changes
 
Compliance & Data
  • Implement, maintain and continuously improve the effectiveness of the ISO 50001 systems using appropriate KPIs and data
  • Contribute to compliance with internal and external laws, rules and standards
  • Tracking and maintenance of appropriate tools and processes
  • Helping the CRE team with their compliance status

Your qualifications

  • Diplom/Master degree in Engineering, Physics or compareable with at least two years of relevant professional experience or equivalent qualification with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Work experience in construction, conversion and renovation of industrial plants is an advantage
  • Comprehensive ISO 50001/9001 & ESG knowledge
  • Holistic knowledge in the areas of sustainability, environmental protection, safety, health protection and energy
  • Very good written and spoken English and German skills
