Job Mission

As a Business Controller Customer Support for Korea and Japan you act as a strong business partner by managing and deploying KR and JP measures and processes. You will provide transparent information to enable and drive effective decision making in achieving our strategic objectives.

Job Description

  • Partner with and drive the business to achieve their short- and long-term objectives.
  • Be bridge builder among sectors and business lines, with independent (finance) view on what is best for the company as a whole.
  • Drive Installed Base margin by focusing on improved services and cost reduction programs
  • Drive optimization and improvement of processes, standardization of worldwide reporting and insight-driven analyses to satisfy the need for management information
  • Drive the business review cycle
  • Drive the monthly, yearly and long-term financial planning processes for the sector
  • Participate in business improvement projects and validate the business cases; • Identify (business and financial) risks and opportunities.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in business administration and above, preferably followed by a chartered controller qualification

Experience

  • About 15+years in Finance roles, including at least 5 years in Business Control as part of a Management Team, in large-size international industrial companies, preferably in complex technology businesses.
  • Track record in financial and business control at business unit, divisional or group level.

  • Hands on and being able to work with detail.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, being able to influence without hierarchical power, and creative in managing a large and diverse range of stakeholders
  • Maintain personal effectiveness and people focus under pressure, high speed of change and uncertainty
  • Ability to guide and advise at all organizational levels to effect sustainable change and improving the process maturity level of the organization;
  • Team player enjoys working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams with the ability to work independently
  • Self-driven and ambitious
