Job Mission
The Business Controller - Corporate Sectors within Business Insights and Control is responsible for making financial data on SG&A cost transparent. You understand how to gather and interpret data and communicate this in a transparent way to your stakeholders. Within this fixed role, you create insights for our corporate sectors to control their cost and support in the financial planning processes for all corporate sectors.

Job Description

As Business Controller you are responsible for coordinating the recurring financial planning processes for all corporate sectors, define new insight needs for key sectors and help to deliver on these insights. Furthermore you coordinate and deliver on companywide and ad hoc requests. All this you do with the support of ambitious business analysts.

Your goal is to drive our business through efficient and effective financial reporting and analysis on SG&A OPEX, while making use of different data sources. Main stakeholders in this role are finance business partners and business counterparts as well as finance management.

Team responsibility:
 

  • Translate OPEX data on SG&A into business driven and transparent forecasts

  • Report on and process forecasting and budgeting data

  • Provide proactive support to the finance business partners, finance leadership and business counterparts by generating relevant insights

  • Contribute in reporting projects and actively seek for reporting improvements in our current processes

Your responsibility:

  • Ensuring high quality monthly, annual and long term forecasting for all corporate sectors, by coordination these processes

  • Take the lead in making next steps in insight generation across SG&A and for key sectors specifically

  • Continuously (find opportunities to) improve the quality of our reporting and standardize our processes

Education
Master degree, preferably in the area of Business Economics. Most important, you understand financial data and are able to convey the message behind it.

Experience
You know how to involve people in the team to get the job done and how convey a message to your stakeholders. Large amounts of data are no problem for you. For a thorough analysis, you have experience with SAP and planning systems and excellent excel skills.

Personal skills
You like to coordinate complex processes and requests and get energy from helping and collaborating with others.

You are a result oriented, team player, with excellent analytical skills and an interest in data analytics. You are critical thinking, proactive and have a communicative personality who can connect with relevant stakeholders in a demanding organization.
