Introduction

Metrology software orchestrates the behavior of powerful mechatronic modules of lithography machines, so that together they achieve an extraordinary combination of speed and accuracy. It is the brain of ASML lithography systems. To ensure the continued shrink of the integrated circuits printed by ASML machines, we need people who can help us build next-generation lithography products.

Can you lead, coach, inspire and engage a group of cross-functional software-professionals? Do you have the vision to constantly nurture and shape the team to guarantee next year’s challenges will be not just met, but wholeheartedly surpassed? Are you ready to remove impediments in the execution phase? If so, then your destiny in pushing the limits of science awaits you at ASML.

Job Mission

As Group Leader Software in ASML’s Metrology & Machine Control - Leveling department you will be active at the cutting edge of designing and implementing solutions modeling physics, mechatronics, mechanics, and work closely with functional-metrology development in the same department.
So obviously you will need excellent technical skills. But it’s not just your own performance that you must optimize.

Central to your role as Group Leader is your insight into the different skill sets and motivational factors of each individual member of your team. This insight is essential, because it will enable you to correctly align targets with personalities and thereby optimize your team’s day-to-day performance. You will also need a vision of what will be required in the near future. This will enable you to set-out and navigate a roadmap of required expertise and thereby ensure that ASML will continue to push the boundaries of software development in years to come. Undoubtedly, this is a major challenge, but one that comes with rich feelings of pride, accomplishment and team spirit.

  • Competence management of the competences needed in your group;
  • Hire and assess people in the group.

Education
