Introduction to the job
In the EUV Factory (EF) the Transformation team has the mission to deliver the improvements that the factory needs to reach its strategic goals, or in other words: to help EF become the best factory in the world. This includes deployment of BPI solutions into the factory and delivery of projects defined in the Hoshin Kanri process. The team operates within the context of a multi-year improvement program called FLOW. The team is responsible for all major non-product-related improvements in the EF organization and has interfaces with other major cross-sector improvement programs, with value stream partners and with IT and BPI. This department consists of project leads, BPI deployment leads and Global Subject Matter Experts (GSMEs). Within EF, we collaborate with the Lean team and the Business Engineering team. In the coming years, change is constant and needs to be managed effectively.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Role and responsibilities
Core job: execute projects according to our ASML project methodology
Create project proposals and ensure proper governance
Assemble project team and get approval on project plan.
Manage project planning, project execution including progress reporting, documentation and escalation.
Transfer project to process owner in line management and ensure embedding in the organization
Continuous improvements: contribute to the maturity of the Transformation team and the success of the FLOW program by identifying improvements in way of working.
Knowledge transfer: train and coach ASML employees on process improvements.
Benefits management: evaluate (financial) benefits of project deliverables and clarify how they contribute to EF targets
Cross sector interface: represent the project team across ASML, report progress in Program Boards and/or Portfolio Boards
Education and experience
Bachelor or Master degree in technical area or business administration.
10 years+ work experience of which at least 5 years relevant project management experience
Experience in project management methodology (ASML PMM, agile execution of projects and / or experience in the role of product owner)
Job-related knowledge and/or managerial experience, e.g. change agent lean manufacturing, project leader in operations improvement, World Class Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Industry 4.0
Skills
Positive, hands-on mentality. Strong in communication and stakeholder management. Able to convince, inspire and motivate through cooperation and communication with people on the shop floor up to senior management; Good knowledge of both Dutch and English language. Result oriented.

Other information
The holder of this position reports to the Transformation Group Lead. He or she has interfaces to the project sponsor, subject matter experts, IT and D&E suppliers, and interacts with program managers and business and IT architects when applicable. The Project Lead actively maintains a network within ASML that includes the stakeholders relevant for the success of the project he/she is working on.

The Project Lead demonstrates best-in-class project management skills to introduce new or improved processes and supporting IT-tooling on in line with agreed timing, budget and scope in the EF factory.
