Introduction to the job

Fast market introduction of ASML’s newest technologies requires state of the art teamwork by all disciplines. Smooth implementation of the dynamically introduced new changes is crucial for the business. This requires an effective process; preparing and coordinating the execution to secure the efficiency and profitability of ASML’s business.

Are you the technical Project Coordinator that understands the different change processes and are you challenged by preparation and coordination, whilst being able to spot and structurally resolve issues and processes? Then this could be your next job!

Role and responsibilities

The EF EXE MF Upgrades Integration team is responsible for planning and coordinating EXE Factory/Install upgrades. Our target is to ensure systems are in the right configuration at the right time, including (recently) released upgrades at Module or System level. The team is part of the EF EXE Manufacturing Install & Upgrades group.

As an Upgrades Integrator, your primary challenge is to plan, prepare and coordinate upgrades within the EUV factory. Your main tasks are to ensure all operational conditions to execute the upgrade are in place, including scope, technical dependencies, sequence of work preparation, parts, tools, knowledge, capacity and facilities (6p=P). Additionally, you will coordinate the execution of the sequence of work. This often requires you to enforce upgrades way-of-working from our internal customers and suppliers, so the entire organization learns and moves forward. This constant attention for improvement and development is a typical secondary challenge in this role.

In this job, you'll:

  • Plan, prepare & coordinate upgrades:
Create & maintain complex upgrade plan with minimal impact on cycle time/critical path.
    Prepare 6p=P for upgrades execution.
Strongly drive stakeholders to deliver in time and according to the quality standards.
Drive execution progress; solve/escalate technical, process and logistical issues.
Stay closely involved with the execution team at the shopfloor.
  • Reporting & administration:
Report in progress meetings (e.g. Tier 1/Tier 2) and secure progress reports.
Collect lessons learned and improvements for next iteration.
  • Quality control & continuous improvement:
Identify quality improvements and lead/support implementation within the group and/or sector.
Participate and initiate roll-out of improvements and standard WoW.
  • Knowledge management & team development:
Pro-actively gain and share knowledge of new products & processes, modifications, (sub)modules & total systems within the team.

Education and experience

We are looking for (experienced) Bachelor candidates (4+ yrs) or Academic/Master level (2+ yrs) in Industrial/Mechanical engineering / Mechatronics / Electronics / Physics.

Pre-requisites of working experience:

  • Knowledge of SAP ERP tooling.
  • At least 3 years of experience, preferably within ASML.
  • Experience in a multi-disciplined work environment.
  • Working with complex systems.
  • Experience with stakeholder management.

Skills

Working at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way to do that. You won’t work in a silo. Instead, you’ll be part of a creative, dynamic work environment where you’ll collaborate with supportive colleagues. There is always space for creative and unique points of view. You’ll have the flexibility and trust to choose how best to tackle tasks and solve problems.

To thrive in this job, you’ll need the following skills:

  • Strong analytic capability and a pro-active initiating attitude.
  • Self-steering (feeling comfortable in a highly dynamic environment, in which you might have to work with partial/limited information).
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, work pleasantly with people with differing backgrounds and in different departmental and geographical cultures, at various hierarchical levels.
  • Results oriented – “get it done” mindset.
  • Stress averse.
  • Ability to manage uncertainty - EUV growth goes hand in hand with change.
