Introduction to the job

The Senior Manager of Compensation and Benefits will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies that align with our company's mission, values, and business objectives. This role will assist with the development and implementation of global reward strategy, including salary benchmarking, pension arrangements, benefits management, and annual compensation events such as bonus and salary review.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

- In partnership with country C&B teams, manage the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs

- Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation and benefits practices and recommend cost-effective changes consistent with market trends and the organization’s objectives

- Provide advice to HR business partners on C&B trends, policy interpretations, and program design

- Lead the annual year end compensation cycle planning and administration in partnership with key stakeholders

- Coordinate and manage global C&B projects in close partnership with country HR teams

-Develop and maintain regular reports on compensation trends, benefits utilization, and cost analysis to inform decision-making

Education and experience

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus

-7+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits management, showcasing a track record of designing and implementing successful programs for a diverse employee population

- Experience working with Works Councils, Unions and Collective Labor Agreements (CLAs)

-Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with a knack for drawing actionable insights from complex datasets

-Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team of compensation and benefits professionals

- Experience working across a variety of cultures and international business experience

Skills

- Proven ability to work effectively in teams and with individuals at all levels within an organization understanding of cultural contexts and international work experience preferred

- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data

- Solid project management skills including attention to detail, highly organized

- Extensive knowledge of HR process, procedures and policies

- Workday experience strongly preferred
