Introduction to the job

The Finance Business Controller-CLS will support key functions within the CLS business line at ASML. You will be responsible for short-and-long term forecasting, monthly analysis and variance reporting, business case development for key products and projects, as well as ad-hoc analysis. This position will report to the head of CLS Finance.

Roles and responsibilities

· Responsible to plan, report, execute, and drive the financial planning processes (short term forecast, month-end close and the annual plan) for functions within the D&E, Business Planning and Operations’ teams.

· Support the Sourcing and Procurement team in setting and managing to internal cost roadmaps.

· Develop business cases including ROI/NPV analysis for new products and internal projects.

· Contribute to updating and presenting monthly forecast package to senior leadership.

· Support the development of key performance indicators and improved financial modelling related to Cymer’s inventory investment.

· Complete a quarterly lean project to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the team.

· Work independently on a variety of ad-hoc projects and analysis.

· Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

· MBA or Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant work experience.

· Experience in developing financial models to calculate ROI/NPV.

· Experience and understanding of accounting and finance principles including revenue recognition, accrual based accounting and financial statement modelling.

Skills

· Proficient use of Microsoft office suite programs.

· Ability to apply strong financial management and analytical skills to influence strategic initiatives and business decisions.

· Ability to translate and statistically analyze data and effectively present recommendations in both written and verbal settings.

· Advanced knowledge of financial theory and GAAP.

· Advanced knowledge of Oracle/Hyperion preferred.

· Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with colleagues and internal stakeholders.

· Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $100,500-$167,500. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
