Responsibilities / Accountabilities: 

  • Team Leadership  - Coach, lead, and develop the IT team in APAC and China, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Operational Management -  Ensure the quality of work delivered by the IT team meets or exceeds industry standards and aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Streategic Planning - Develop strategies and initiatives to improve business productivity through the effective use of IT systems, automation, and process optimization, with a focus on security.
  • Regional Projects - Drive regional IT projects, collaborating with stakeholders across different departments and locations to ensure successful implementation and alignment with business priorities. Introduce new strategies from the organization into regional projects, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, vendors, and external partners, to support the delivery of IT services and solutions.
  • Technology Evaluation - Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance the company's competitive position and drive innovation in the IT department, with an emphasis on security and automation.
  • Performance Monitoring - Monitor and analyze IT performance metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

  • Continuous Learning - Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in IT management, sharing knowledge and insights with the team to promote continuous learning and development.
  • Travel - Occasional travel within the APAC region may be required to support regional projects and initiatives.

 

Requirements : 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • At least 7 to 10 years of experience in IT management, with a strong background in system administration, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop a team of IT professionals
  • Expertise in IT strategy development, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and certification processes, with a focus on IT governance, security, and quality management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin to facilitate effective communication within the APAC regions such as China and Taiwan
