Job Description:
Become part of the Business Development team for Wireless products
Focus towards developing business in target segments and customers within India and ASEAN regions
Uncover and nurture new accounts and align Microchip new products/ solutions and roadmaps with customer business strategy
Provide product introduction and roadmap presentation to customers and distributors
Train and drive the direct and indirect sales forces to discover opportunities and drive/support them to design in/wins
Communicate/ replicate the success in one region for other regions
Assist Product Marketing in identifying future customer requirements, engage with early customers for new products and launch of new products into the market
Track the business progress, represent the product line in regional business reviews and generate reports for the management team
Work with sales for customer penetration plans
Provide regular forecast updates for the major revenue contributors
Communicate with stakeholders and senior management on specialized technical or business issues.
Cooperate within team and with regional marketing of other Microchip BUs, regional applications and partners to promote total system solutions including hardware, software and services
Requirements/Qualifications:
Degree in Electronics Engineering
Minimum of 10+ years of total experience including experience in Wireless products sales, marketing and/or business development
Experienced with one or more of following wireless technologies and software stacks - Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, IEEE802.15.4, Zigbee, Matter, and Thread
Preferred technical background and experience on Wireless related development tools and software (e.g., C language, IDE, RTOS)
Effective communication skills over across-cultural boundaries, cross-team
Familiar with global markets, business environments and cultures
Must be highly motivated. Possess eager attitude toward learning new skills & technology
