Business Unit Description
As a senior product marketing manager, you will develop and execute strategy, to grow the global Building and Energy business for the Secure Connected Edge Processing Business Line. You will partner with NXP salespeople to build deep relationships with 10 top segment focus customers. You will contribute to develop and build management consensus for the global revenue growth strategy at focus customers, and leverage lessons learned to win in the mass market. This will require collaboration across NXP product teams, global sales teams and external partners, to incubate and leverage segment-focused messages and solutions, as well as influence value propositions and differentiated messages via all conduits, e.g., mass market channels, web, publications, press, events, partner joint marketing, and social media. You will collaborate with other business lines to launch segment-level development platforms, with global marketing campaigns, for applications such as EV charging, microgrid elements, building and energy management, metering, and connectivity. You will contribute market-specific knowledge and customer feedback to the definition of new microprocessor and microcontroller products and solutions for the Secure Connected Edge business Line.
In this role, you will:
- Prioritize, plan and execute strategies for building and energy segment growth.
- Gather feedback from your partner and customer base, to provide input to the roadmap for future microprocessor and microcontroller products and solutions.
- Track and ensure execution of your plans, while clearly communicating changes to customers and internal teams, and driving corrective actions where needed.
- Work with diverse world-wide teams and customers.
- Manage multiple simultaneous customer programs.
Applicants should meet five of the following Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering or Science degree
- Master of Business degree or equivalent experience developing business case and market analysis
- 10 years of technology industry experience, including 2 years in the semiconductor industry
- Knowledge of microcontroller or processor architecture, circuit schematics, and embedded software
- Experience engaging with customers or partners who develop products based on embedded microcontrollers or processors
- Excellent written and oral communications
- Excellent Communication
- Detail and action oriented
