POSITION SUMMARY
ASM is recruiting for Senior Field Service Engineer in our Global Sales, Services & Spares business function located in Kawasaki or Chitose, Japan. You will be part of a team of Sales & Services Japan providing action plans and operational quality of system equipment.
Key Responsibilities
⚫ Demonstrates ability to acquire equipment performance.
⚫ Completes quality repairs. Actively responds to fab issues by communicating with engineers team.
⚫ Follows all checklists and procedures and ensures correct procedures and schematics are available prior to performing work. May identify procedural issues.
⚫ Can perform most retrofits on equipment. Assists in process issues.
⚫ Applies engineering techniques and the use of documentation and test equipment with assistance from senior engineers.
⚫ Customer Service by: 1. Responsibility for full customer satisfaction assuring excellent relations within assigned area. 2. Demonstrates strong interest and knowledge of the customer’s business. 3. Builds and maintains customer satisfaction through clear, consistent communication and the sharing of collective knowledge. 4. Solicits customer feedback. Understands the impact of various actions/decisions on the account. 5. Aware of potential dissatisfies and escalates as appropriate. 6. Develops and executes corrective action plans.
⚫ Complies with all safety procedures and consistently demonstrates safety as a value.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
• Education degree: Bachelor degree of Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
• Experienced at least 5 years as field service engineer in related industry.
• Excellent communication skills to exchange information
