Position Summary
As the Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for managing laboratory testing equipment such as FIB and TEM. You will work closely with the R&D team to collect and analyze data, while also supporting lab operations and maintaining the equipment for optimal conditions and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Managing laboratory equipments such as the TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy) and FIB (Focused Ion Beam)
- Conduct cross-sectional observations with TEM
- Work with the R&D/Process Engineering team to collect and analyze data
- Support lab operations and participate in on-call schedule
- Manage the spare parts for laboratory equipments
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience with operating FIB and/or TEM equipments
- Business level or higher fluency in Japanese, conversational in English (business level in reading and writing preferred)
- Ability to work on shift work (1st shift 07:00am – 15:30, 2nd shift 13:30―22:00), and occasionaly weekend shift.
- Positive attitude towards work
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a science-related major
