Cirrus Logic is a leading expert of low power, mixed-signal processing, and a leading supplier of innovative solutions in audio, voice and haptics! We are hiring a Product Engineer who will be responsible for the qualification of exciting new products and driving quality improvements. This is your opportunity to work with internal engineering teams and external product test suppliers to resolve sophisticated problems as well as identify and implement efficient process improvements! 

Responsibilities:

    • Work with Quality team on product reliability qualifications
    • Own statistical data analysis & reporting to external customers
    • Develop hardware for reliability stressing
    • Bring up of burn in capability for qualifications
    • Collaborate with multi-functional teams, such as Quality and Design, to implement solutions to sophisticated problems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree with 3+ years of directly related experience
    • Possess a strong base in statistics applicable to high volume data analysis and experience with JMP or similar statistical analysis programs
    • Knowledge of reliability stresses such as HTOL/ELFR/HAST/ESD
    • Good understanding of Analog (ADC/DAC/AMP) and Digital testing
    • Familiarity with datasheets and test coverage reviews
    • Knowledge of hardware design basics
    • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Visual Basic (VBT), or JSL
    • Experience with oscilloscope and logic analyzers for burn in debug
    • Attention to detail and have the ability to make good decisions
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

    • Experience with Teradyne IG-XL tester platform
    • Experience with qualification of 55nm and smaller process nodes
    • Experience with HTOL/BHAST hardware design 
This position is based in Edinburgh, UK

This is a hybrid remote position and will follow a 2+ day in-office work schedule, with in-office days based on business needs and team preference. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
