We're looking for a Senior Product Test Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX! You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our production testing solutions. This is a hands-on engineering position responsible for the design and implementation of high-performance hardware and software to test innovative mixed-signal products including audio codecs, haptics/sensing, power delivery, battery management, and audio power amplifiers for mobile devices.

Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of next-generation production test solutions
    • Design sophisticated digital, power, and mixed-signal ATE board schematics and lead all aspects of PCB layouts, and support probecard / loadboard design, debug, and release to mass production
    • Collaborate regularly with IC design engineers, validation engineers, and various other teams
    • Join in multi-functional meetings to resolve complex production issues
    • NPI software support of test program development through release to mass production
    • Interpretation of datasheets and translation to test hardware
    • Participate in yield improvement activities and cost reduction projects
    • Provide customer return support

Required Skills and Qualifications

    • BS in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of test engineering experience
    • Experience with high-volume production ramps
    • Experience with mixed-signal test hardware debug
    • Broad understanding of, and test implementation for, various circuit blocks and topologies, such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs, amplifiers, charge pumps, temperature sensors, and digital communication protocols (I2C, SPI, SPMI, I2S, TDM, etc)
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Able to work to tight and variable time scales
    • Strong communication skills and experience working in a multi-functional engineering team
    • Strong data and yield analysis skills using tools such as Spotfire, JMP, Syntricity, Excel

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

    • Teradyne UltraFlex or UltraFlexPLUS proficiency
    • Expertise of Python scripting language
    • Experience using and testing OTP, flash, and other forms of non-volatile memories
