We are looking for a dedicated and versatile Product Engineering to add to our Global Operations team. If you are a hands-on Product Engineer seeking to manage and develop a team of product engineers, this is the role for you! You will be responsible for qualification of ground-breaking products for audio processing, PMIC, haptics/sensing, and portable amplifier products. 

Responsibilities:

    • Own product qualification for Cirrus products
    • Help define, create, verify, and implement stress patten for HTOL, LTOL, and ELFR
    • Manage qualification hardware
    • Perform data analysis on test program performance and read points
    • Interface with cross-function groups to manage qualification deliverables and timelines
    • Own internal & external communication on qualification milestones and issues
    • Launch products into production with D0 yield
    • Interface with External Test team and OSAT’s in Asia
    • Manage yield enhancement and cost reduction projects
    • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
    • Interpretation of datasheets and translation to test
    • Support and contribute to Change Action Board (CAB) and Material Review Board (MRB)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering and considerable product engineering experience
    • Experience with mixed signal product performance and behaviours
    • Knowledge of hardware debug and schematic tracing
    • Expert in data analysis tools & techniques
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to interpret results and resolve technical problems
    • Able to work to tight and variable time scales
    • Able to work within a cross functional engineering team spread across multiple geographic locations
    • Strong project leadership skills and ability to plan and manage own workload and that of others within the team

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of Teradyne test systems
This position is based in Edinburgh, UK

This is a hybrid remote position and will follow a 2+ day in-office work schedule, with in-office days based on business needs and team preference. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
