We’re looking for an Applications Engineer for our ASIC Digital Design/Implementation customers.
In this role you will be:
  • Part of an outstanding and dynamic Application Engineering team.
  • Responsible for partnering with our customer to showcase Synopsys best-in-class synthesis and physical design solutions on cutting edge technologies.
  • Support the sale and adoption of Synopsys products to help customers achieve tangible and lasting PPA improvements.
  • AEs are expected to be knowledgeable in multiple domains of design implementation and understand codependency of flow and methodology.
  • Managing multiple customer activities concurrently, and work with Account Managers and RnD.
Key Qualifications:
  • BS/MSEE with at least 3+ years of industry experience with synthesis/physical design.
  • Hands on SoC/block level synthesis experience.
  • RTL to GDSII full flow experience or knowledge is preferable.
  • Have proficiency in Tcl programming.
  • VLSI understanding.
  • Strong interest and understanding of Advanced Node & Design methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation/communication skills are mandatory. Customer sensitivity, the ability to multiplex many issues & set priorities, and the desire to help customers exploit new technologies are essential for success in the position.

Nice To Have:
  • Hands on experience with full flow PnR (e.g. Fusion Compiler, ICC2 or Other PnR tools)
  • STA experience and tool knowledge (Primetime)
  • Formal verification experience
  • DFT understanding.

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $126,000-$190,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
