PROCESS ENGINEER - MOCVD
Job Description:
In this role you will be working on the production of epiwafers, as well as on various projects, at the epitaxy department of MACOM European Semiconductor Center. You will also have the opportunity to be responsible for a development project.
Responsibilities include production, development, continuous improvement, and sustaining processes ; all in close partnership with the customers. This position is hands-on, and requires discipline and work in clean rooms. You will be expected to define and set deliverables, plan resources, and achieve desired results. Excellent judgment, expertise in thin film characterizations, and an optimistic, can-do approach are essential to success in this role. Good knowledge of gas and chemicals is an asset. Industrial experience is a plus.
The position reports to the Head of Epitaxy Department.
Job Qualifications:
- Engineering school graduation, or MS degree in Electronics, Chemistry or Physics.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics
- Demonstrated knowledge in characterisations
- Familiarity with chemicals and/or materials for compound semiconductors and/or gas processes
- Must have a proven track record of solving technical problems, meeting deadlines, and multitasking.Must possess the ability to work collaboratively, and with cross functional teams to improve processes.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
