This is an onsite fulltime position located in Livermore.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides fulltime (40 hours) onsite IT technical support to local and remote workforce via, but not limited to, in-person walk-up, phone, e-mail or automated ticketing.
  • Performs troubleshooting on and configures, deploys and supports local and network devices and peripherals such as desktops and laptops, manufacturing workstations and tools, conference room audio visual systems, phones, printers, etc.
  • Fosters and maintains professional relationships with internal business users including manufacturing engineers, managers, executives and colleagues to meet or exceed expected customer service commitment.
  • Documents incidents and resolutions, escalating issues to other IT groups, IT management and/or other business areas when necessary.
  • Provides training as needed to users on software, hardware, conference room audio visual systems, and business communication platform.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience with diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Associate degree in Computer Science preferred.
  • A thorough understanding of computer and network systems technology including basic networking protocols such as DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLAN, etc.
  • Working knowledge of: Microsoft 365 and Entra admin centers, SCCM, current and legacy Windows OS, Active Directory, Microsoft Office applications, ticketing system.
  • Requires excellent communications skills both verbal and written.  Demonstrated ability to communicate technical training and support to non-technical users.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and priorities effectively and respond with appropriate level of urgency.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Sitting, standing, stooping, bending, or crouching for prolonged periods of time – up to 8 hours per day.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. or more.
  • Work area has fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
  • Moderate to loud noise level.
  • Must be available to work evenings and evenings for on-call rotation up to 2 times per quarter.
  • Able to work in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor protocol/requirements.
  • Able to wear all required clean room protective clothing and equipment for up to 8 hours per day (excluding breaks).
The pay range for this role in Livermore, CA is between $34.30 and $45.04. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands.
