Job Summary 

Qorvo is hiring a Client Services Engineer into our Information Technology Client Services Organization. This role will define end user service architecture, road mapping and support processes within our Infrastructure team. As part of this position, they will be focused on designing, deploying and supporting security focused services at the enterprise level. To be considered for the role, candidates must demonstrate strong technical and communication skills, ability to design and implement critical global infrastructure platforms, and have previously supported a fast-moving enterprise environment. You will collaborate with service providers, functional business units, and stakeholders to deliver innovative and effective solutions. You will be a support leader at a large manufacturing and design facility while working to deploy the tools and technologies to keep our data and employees safe.

Essential Functions 

  • Leading the effort to ensure a security first design across client services teams. 
  • Design and planning experience in environments with 10,000+ users. 
  • Continuously identify, plan, and implement necessary upgrades to support capacity planning, business requirements, and technological changes. 
  • Implement scalable solutions to support critical infrastructure services such as Privileged Access Management, Identity and Access Management, and Data Recovery.
  • Perform root-cause analysis of complex issues ranging through hardware, operating system, application, network, and information security platforms while working closely with a variety of infrastructure teams and business users to quickly arrive at inventive and long-term solutions. 
  • Collaborate with the Security Organization to integrate security products and technologies, such as Antivirus, Antimalware, Okta, VPN Services, Volume Encryption, Secure Configuration, Monitoring and Vulnerability Management, IAM, and Privileged Access, into the portfolio of end user compute solutions.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for resolving technical issues, providing opportunities for team member development.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, manage risks, and effectively communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring successful delivery of client services projects within specified timelines, budget, and quality standards

 

Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience 
  • Extensive expertise and administrative experience with SharePoint Online, Office 365 (including Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, and O365 Security & Compliance), Active Directory / Azure Active Directory, Okta, CyberArk
  • Expert knowledge of desktop and mobile devices (Windows, MacOS, Android, and iPhone)
  • Solid experience with end-point management solutions such as SCCM, MDM, CMG, Intune, and Jamf Pro.
  • Proven experience in project management and coordinating work efforts across the Information Technology ecosystem 
  • Expert knowledge of software and/or systems engineering processes obtained through formal training and/or work experience 
  • Expert knowledge of required software engineering languages/tools and/or systems platform management technologies. 
  • Previous experience in hybrid multi-cloud environments, including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and on-premises solutions
  • Able to resolve highly complex technical problems at the enterprise level 
  • Advanced knowledge of technical/business environment. Able to engage with internal customers without direction 
  • Must have strong focus on internal and external customer requirements 
  • Provides technical leadership and coaching for the enterprise related to technical system strategies 
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills to effectively serve as a leader and evangelist across the enterprise 
  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of complex business processes across the enterprise 
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Must be comfortable making formal presentations to senior IT management and executive level clients 
  • Ability to direct, coach and mentor the technical and managerial development of other engineers 
  • Ability to partner with vendors, external contacts and industry standards organizations to deliver technical solutions 
  • Must have appropriate skills with the standard workstation software utilized to perform daily duties, e. g., Word, Excel, Visio, etc. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Must be close to a Qorvo site in order to lead manufacturing systems recovery - locations include: Dallas, TX, Hillsboro, OR, Greensboro, NC
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience 
  • Experience with client service applications: SCCM, Jamf, Intune, Cyberark, Okta
  • Experience supporting costs and budget preparation including software and hardware, maintenance, supplies inventory, vendor relationship and licensing
  • Excellent troubleshooting, time-management, communication, technical writing, presentations and organizational skills
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, diagnostic and analytics tools
  • Ability to multi task in a high demand environment
  • Knowledge and practical experience with applying ITIL process and practices
