JR51520 IT SYSTEM ENGINEER
Provides highly transparent customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as leading all aspects of any vital diagnoses, solving, service, and repair of sophisticated equipment and systems. Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets's customers' needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers. Serves as customer contact on technical and service related problems. Prepares reports for analysis of product failure trends and service ability issues. This job may include any aspect of field support, and is not limited to system hardware and software.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle ticketing and routine jobs of all Field Service (FS) related works
- Handle vendors and contractors of FS team
- Handle site printers and site printer servers
- Submit purchase request for all FS related material
- Handle all FS inventory rooms and spares
- Coordinate with Corp FS team to implement FS related projects
- Participate in FS on-call duty
- In charge of the specific OMT service and related tasks
As part of your responsibilities you will be required to:
- Provide day to day technology directions within Windows client system
- Maintain global collaboration with the other Micron IT operations teams, both internal and external to I&O
- Operational support customer concern
- Project execution
- Maintain OLA and SLA agreements with other Micron Business Units
- Innovation
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Continually improves operations through routine tasks and proactive actions.
- Reviewing of system log files, trend analysis, configuration, incident and problem management processes.
- Ensures architectural consistency and provides technical direction through roadmap process, knowledge management, disaster recovery plan development and testing.
- Creating all the necessary documentation for any changes in the environment or innovative technology deployments as reference architecture for the global operation team.
