We are seeking a dedicated, off-hours IT Manufacturing Systems Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency by troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading our IT systems and manufacturing tools.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•            Work in a cross-functional team of software developers, manufacturing specialists, and process and equipment engineers

•            Provide on-call support on a rotating basis, responding to critical system issues outside of regular business hours to ensure continuous manufacturing operations

•            Monitor and maintain operational performance of manufacturing IT systems and applications

•            Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues within the manufacturing environment

•            Collaborate with the IT and manufacturing teams to implement new technologies and system improvements

•            Ensure all manufacturing IT systems comply with industry standards and company policies

•            Provide technical support and training to manufacturing staff on new and existing IT systems

•            Manage and maintain documentation for manufacturing IT systems, including system configurations, procedures, and service records

•            Participate in software development and testing

•            Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for system enhancements and repairs as needed

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

•            Associate degree in CS, information systems or another STEM field is required

•            Minimum 3 years of experience working in a high-tech manufacturing environment

•            Semiconductor manufacturing environment experience is a plus

•            Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

•            Previous hands-on troubleshooting in a complex computerized manufacturing environment

•            Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) is a plus

•            Knowledge of Linux, .Net, Windows Servers, VM, databases is a plus

•            Knowledge of reporting tools such as Spotfire is a plus

•            Excellent communication, multi-tasking is a plus

 

After completion of a training period (1-3 months), the position is expected to transition to swing shift (3pm-11:30pm, Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat) or night shift (11pm-7:30am, 5 days).
