Position: Senior Engineer, Product Engineering (Mfg.) (San Jose, California)
Duties:
- Responsible for performing yield enhancement on projects.
- Perform data analysis, device characterization, and fault isolation to determine the root cause of the problem.
- Define problems independently with some supervision, by identifying failure modes, quantity of material affected, and percent fallout.
- Influences other organizations and provides proactive feedback to management, with respect to resources and effort needed to achieve goals.
May be eligible for a hybrid schedule (work from home and the office).
Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, or closely related field of study and two (2) years of work experience in the job offered (Product Engineer), university research position involving semiconductors, or closely related occupation.
Must possess expertise/ knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/ knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education.
Such expertise/ knowledge cannot be "quantified" by "time." Required expertise/ knowledge includes:
- Root cause analysis.
- Transistor level analog circuit design and device physics.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment including-XRD, SEM, FIB, EDS, STEM.
- Data analysis and statistics.
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing tools: PVD and CVD chambers.

Salary: $126,984.00 - $150,420.00/year
