Role
Join our close-knit physical design team and take charge of full chip timing analysis on our cutting-edge Wafer Scale Engine. As a valued member, you'll be responsible for all aspects of achieving full chip timing closure. This includes developing an efficient flow, implementing precise timing margins, and executing full chip timing closure with precision. Collaborate closely with the RTL team, fullchip integration, and block owners to effectively address any timing challenges that arise.
Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of static timing analysis experience .
- Strong knowledge of static timing analysis
- Expert at closing full chip timing
- Good understanding of techniques for optimizing timing, such as structured placement and pre-routes, and clock optimization
- Experience with the complete physical design flow. Knowledge of Synopsys tool suite is a plus.
- Expert with Primetime or similar tools
- Good understanding of full chip floorplanning and integration.
- Strong ability in scripting languages like Tcl and Python. Ability to make flow enhancements.
- Demonstrated ability to work with RTL teams to optimize for timing closure
- Ability to run Spice simulations and correlate to timing work
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or similar
